Performance
A standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with 191 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft. of torque is the base option for the K5, but it does have the ability to use a turbocharged version of the same motor that can output 290 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. However, you’ll have to upgrade to the GT trim level to access that additional strength, and by doing so, you’ll also give yourself access to the available 8-speed dual clutch transmission. Both FWD and AWD are usable with this mode, and each has access to Normal, Sport, and My Drive settings to change up performance, but only the latter drivetrain includes a Snow Mode option that can be ideal for when you’re dealing with such weather conditions.
Exterior
When you’ve got to meet up with your friends at the Aurora Country Club, the standard Smart Trunk1 is an effective tool that’ll make loading cargo into the 2026 Kia K5 a breeze. Also located on the rear of this vehicle are the available dual exhaust, standard shark fin antenna, and LED taillights that all factor into its sense of style. Three different size options can also be chosen with its wheel sizes that range between 16 inches, 18 inches, and 19 inches.
